October 2009: PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) injections now available in Dr. Desai's office. PRP is the newest non-surgical treatment for elbow tendinitis ("tennis elbow"). Please contact our office for further details.

May 2009: Dr. Desai elected Vice-President of the Southeastern Hand Club. The SEHC is one of the oldest regional hand surgery study groups in the US. Membership is by invitation only.

May 2009: Dr. Desai's office is now completely digital and paperless. All medical records, x-rays, and MRIs are digital. Improving efficiency and expediting patient care.

April 2009: Dr. Desai gives presentation on "minimally invasive trigger digit release in an office setting." Southeastern Hand Club annual meeting. North Miami Beach, FL.

April 2009: Hand Therapy is now fully integrated into Dr. Desai's office. We are adding a 7th Hand Therapist to our practice to keep up with patient demand.

April 2009: Did you know that there are non-invasive ways to treat Tennis elbow? Sonocur is a non-invasive technique that has been shown to be effective in the treatment of Tennis elbow. It is available through our office.
